The 2026 AGM for the Newcastle Cycling Campaign will be held on Tuesday July 7th at 7:30pm. The event will take place at Jesmond Library, St. George’s Terrace, Newcastle NE2 2DL.
Jesmond Library is pretty accessible by bike, and there is a decent amount of cycle parking available nearby. The venue is fully accessible.
The library is close to West Jesmond metro, and close to bus routes along Osborne Road.
Agenda
With a newly elected Council, lots of new Councillors and a change of leadership within Newcastle City Council, there is great potential to see a step change in how the city supports everyone to cycle safely to school, work and shops. This year’s AGM will focus on cycling for all, with a presentation from Audrey Christie, a Breeze ride leader for British Cycling.
We will also conduct the official business for the AGM:
- Minutes of the last meeting
- 2025-2026 accounts
- Annual Report
- Election of Committee Members
Come along to find out more, help form our plans for the upcoming year, elect the committee, share ideas, and celebrate our love of cycling together.
If you are planning to join us at the AGM, please sign up below. There’s no cost, but knowing how many of you are coming will help us with planning the evening.
