Cycle Safari: Elswick and Benwell

It is with great pleasure that this year we were able to start running our cycle safaris again. For those who don’t know what this means – no we are not going looking for lions! But we do hope to spot a few new zebras on our streets. We held our Annual General Meeting on 1 April 2017 at the Commercial Union House in Newcastle City Centre, a lovely community and artist space managed by Ampersand Inventions. Newcycling is planning its third Civic Cycle Ride for Space for Cycling, a national campaign for cycleways and improved cycling conditions. Embarking on the Transport Transition Journey – AGM 2015 (Part 1)

It was truly uplifting to see an even bigger crowd than last year at the Hub for our AGM 2015. Forty members and a handful of observers: the Cycle Hub was certainly packed that night!
