Get Britain Cycling parliamentary debate – what does it mean for Newcastle

On Monday 2 September 2013 one hundred MPs attended the House of Commons (and it was their first day back after summer recess too!) to debate the state of cycling in Britain and what should be done to get Britain cycling. Cycling Campaign Rolls into Newcastle (Launch) – press release

01.10.2010 PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CYCLING CAMPAIGN ROLLS INTO NEWCASTLE Friday 1 October 2010 sees the launch of a city-wide campaign for a cycle-friendly Newcastle. The Newcastle Cycling Campaign aims to improve conditions for Newcastle cyclists. In June a ‘safe cycling’ petition supported by a staggering 800 local residents was presented to a Newcastle City Council meeting and won support from Cllr Wendy Taylor (Environment Portfolio).
