Movement Strategy Launched

Today we were invited to the launch of Newcastle City Council’s new Movement Strategy.

First announced In September 2023 by the then Cabinet Member for a Connected City, Cllr Jane Byrne, the strategy is now out for consultation until 29th November 2024. The strategy will be revised after consultation and presented to Cabinet in Spring 2025 before an Implementation Plan is developed.

We’ll be discussing this in more depth in future posts, we have a member meeting in November where we can hear our member’s views and we of course will publish our reponse.
