Invite-only event – Dutch and local council engineers will discuss different approaches to bike infrastructure design and planning. This workshop is part of Love Cycling Go Dutch. Following conversations with the Dutch Embassy earlier this year, the Campaign is thrilled to announce that Newcastle will host a ‘Love Cycling – Go Dutch’ conference on 5 November 2013 at the Civic Centre. Campaigning is spreading its wings across the region – a brand new cycling campaign has recently been launched in Tynedale by Paul Goldsmith and Ted Liddle, two enthusiastic cyclists who would like to see more and better cycle route, cycling facilities and cycling schemes in the Tyne Valley and surrounding area.
