It’s AGM time soon, Tuesday 24 March 2015 to be precise! Open to all members, please come and help us discuss and shape our campaigning plans for the year ahead.
We’ll be meeting at one of our corporate partner’s places, the fabulous Cycle Hub on the Quayside,
This year, we will kick off at 6:30pm but do come along earlier, grab a drink (first drink on us!), some food maybe and start cycle chat – Registrations start at 6:00pm.
We have a great programme for you and hope you like it too:
During the first half an hour, we’ll deal with the formal AGM business: agree the minutes from last year, present the annual accounts and report and form the management committee for 2015/16, i.e. appoint committee members.
Graham Grant from Newcastle City Council will present the city’s programme of cycling infrastructure, and we’ll make sure there’s enough time for a few Q&A. Then we will present the Campaign’s plan and priorities for 2015-16. This year, we thought it would be good to make it more interactive and make it easier for members to get involved: we will break up in small groups and discuss each priority. Make yourself familiar with the proposal, maybe have a look at the emerging Campaign’s structure too and get ready to participate!
We look forward to seeing you there – please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re planning to come along (or send your apologies and let us know why you cannot make it – this will help us improve meetings in future); in any case, getting to know numbers on the day will facilitate the final phase of planning/organisation and ensure that there’s enough cake!
All papers including minutes from last year and draft agenda can be found here
Looking forward to seeing you there!
