Following the success of last year’s symposium in Wales and the recent Love Cycling Go Dutch conference in Newcastle, you are invited to the 11th Cycling & Society (C&S) Symposium 2014. The 11th C&S Symposium is co-organised by Northumbria University, Newcastle City Council and the Newcastle Cycling Campaign.
Timeline leading up to Symposium
9 June 2014 – Abstracts for papers and posters
7 July 2014 – Notification of acceptances
1 August 2014 – draft programme uploaded
29 August 2014 – Abstracts
13 September 2014 – Programme including links to individual abstracts uploaded
Programme of the event
Sunday 14/09/14 pm, start 15:30 – ‘infrastructure safari’ by bike
Monday 15/09/14 all day – Symposium, venue Newcastle Civic Centre, NE1 8PP, Pandon Room, followed by Conference Dinner from 18:30 at Electric East (£20 to be paid at the restaurant)
Tuesday 16/09/14 am till 12:45 – PhD student presentations, round-table and business meeting about the future, venue Northumbria University, Ellison Building, Room D111 ROOM CHANGE !

Note: Conference Dinner £20 to be paid on the night at the restaurant
