Preparing our AGM

The Campaign Annual General Meeting is fast approaching: it will be held on Tuesday 25 March 2014, 6:00pm at the Cycle Hub in Newcastle.

Our Constitution gives more details about the AGM; in summary, we first handle the “operational” business and then we discuss and agree with our members the Campaign’s priorities for the year ahead. The AGM business entails presenting our annual report and accounts, and forming the new management committee – nominations are being sought, so if you are interested, just drop us an email at and we’ll send you more information. The management committee meets monthly and at its first meeting after the AGM, the Committee will agree the positions of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

So the Campaign team is working on the preparation of the End of Year financial accounts and annual report which will outline our activities, achievements and any other facts and figures for the 2013/14 year. These as well as our proposed priorities for 2014/15 will be posted on the website just before the AGM. You will also receive your AGM invitation with the agenda towards the end of February, please RSVP so that we can keep track of numbers and make sure we have enough cakes!
