Beat the winter blues: #keepcycling, keep campaigning!

Winter is at our doorstep and as the days get darker and colder, we all feel like hibernating. So this is a little wake up call from n0tice, a new initiative which aims to celebrate winter cycling and those who don’t put the bike in the shed at this time of the year but instead keep pedaling. If you’re one of those and would like to share your stories, tips and enthusiasm, please sign up with n0tice and post some stuff at http://keepcycling.n0tice.com/
They have just produced a great little clip which features the super fab Cycle Hub on the quayside in Newcastle.

In the meantime, the Newcastle Cycling Campaign Team has been very busy contributing to the development of the cycling strategic network in particular the Walker route, the plans around Central Station and our audit of the city centre North South Cycling route, amongst other things. Full update at the next members meeting on Tuesday 11 December. Our suggestions to get into campaigning action can be found at https://newcycling.org/action
