Planning has started for the AGM 2018 – which will be held on Sunday 25 March, 2:00-4:00pm
The Newcastle venue is yet to be confirmed – we are looking at organising a kids friendly place so that families can come and participate.
As usual, we’ll deal with the formal AGM business first, i.e. review the minutes of 2017 AGM, present our annual reports including finances, and form the management committee.
With the all-out local elections on 3 May, we are planning to organise a transport policy debate with candidates from Labour, Lib Dems, Greens and Conservatives. A great opportunity to find out more about their policies and plans for cycling, urban space, transport and social justice in Newcastle.
We are also planning to launch our City4Kids manifesto, another opportunity for members to get political and lobby their candidates in the run up to the elections for a greener, healthier and fairer Newcastle.
Oh, and there will be cakes after 4 for the little and big ones to eat and get chatting.
